Scholarships and Bursaries

Deadline for applications is May 15, 2016. Successful candidates will be notified on June 17, 2016.

EANS offers the following awards for students living with epilepsy:

  • The Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia Memorial Scholarships - value $500 each, 2 available. Open to residents of Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.

Scholarships are awarded based on scholastic achievement, volunteer and work experience and extracurricular activities.

  • The James Russell Kline Memorial Bursary - value $500. Open only to residents of Nova Scotia.
  • EANS Bursary - value $500 open to all residents of the Maritimes

Bursaries are awarded based on financial need. However, scholastic achievement, volunteer and work experience, and extracurricular activities will be taken into consideration.
