Scholarships and Bursaries

Deadline for applications is June 9, 2017. Successful candidates will be notified on or before June 30, 2017. Only applications with a completed checklist will be considered. EANS offers the following awards for students living with epilepsy:
- The Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia Memorial Scholarships – value $500 each, 2 available. Open to all residents of the Maritimes.
Scholarships are awarded based on scholastic achievement, volunteer and work experience and extracurricular activities.
- The James Russell Kline Memorial Bursary – value $500. Open only to residents of Nova Scotia.
- Epilepsy Association of Nova Scotia Bursary – value $500 open to all residents of the Maritimes
Bursaries are awarded based on financial need. However, scholastic achievement, volunteer and work experience, and extracurricular activities will be taken into consideration. If you qualify for scholastic achievement as well as financial need, you are entitled to apply for both.
