Purple Day

March is Epilepsy Awareness Month. Purple Day is recognized in over 70 countries and on every continent on March 26th every year. Cassidy Megan, who was 8 years old at the time, started Purple Day because she wanted everyone to understand and support all of those who live with epilepsy. All around the world businesses, schools, municipal, provincial councils and our Federal Government here in Canada recognize Purple Day by wearing purple ribbons.
